Due to the adventures of the monument, preserved are only a few fragments from the pediments of the Temple of Athena Nike, which makes the identification of their subjects uncertain. It has been suggested that the east pediment featured the Gigantomachy and the west the Amazonomachy.

Fragmentarily preserved male statuette which depicts a naked warrior defending himself against an enemy. He may be a Giant who, fallen on his knees, tries to protect himself by raising his left hand. In it he would have held a shield or animal skin and in his right lowered hand most possibly had a weapon.
